S. K. was born and raised in Texas. She currently lives north of the Dallas metroplex with her husband, Jack, two Arabian horses, multiple rescue cats, and a pampered Pomeranian.
After searching for the right company and career opportunity, S. K. found the one that would define her. She found purpose in helping others rebuild their lives after natural disasters. Traveling and working from coast to coast in the United States, she was exposed to a diverse range of people from a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She found her career both fascinating and rewarding, experiencing life’s journeys through the eyes, hearts, and homes of those she helped.
Discovering so much diversity in her own country, S. K. furthered her curiosity during her holidays by exploring other countries and their cultures. Through the years, she enjoyed tennis, scuba diving, snow skiing, sailing, and enjoying the ostentatious world of exhibiting western pleasure horses.
Since childhood, she has been a storyteller, crafting a fictional world as a refuge from the arduous realities of life. She credits her parents for allowing her to explore her imagination and follow her dreams. Now retired, she has found the time to finish those stories and share them with others.
S.K. devotes her time to her family, rescue cats, reading, researching, and creating her favorite imaginary world of fictional historical romance characters.
